Fall weather is finally here! Leaves are changing.
It is time for some fall themed felt stuff!
Hold arms out like a tree and then let each leaf slowly fall while chanting:
Leaves, leaves, falling down,
Falling on the ground.
What color is this leaf
Falling on the ground?
Wait for the correct answer. They usually get it.
Wait for the correct answer. They usually get it.
Afterwards we sing to the tune of London Bridge:
Autumn leaves are falling down,
Have hands drop one by one in front of you
Falling down, falling down!
Autumn leaves are falling down,
All over town.
The cold wind blows them all around…
Sway hands back and forth in front of you
They're drifting gently to the ground…
Drop them all the way to the floor
Take a rake and rake them up…
Pretend to rake
Take the pile and jump right in...
Jump!

Repeat last two lines ad infinitum.
After leaf jumping it is time to cozy up with some coffee!
