Totoro in the Garden

I’m a big Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli fan. Luckily my daughter loved My Neighbor Totoro when she was young, so I watched it over and over. That movie never gets old. Totoro works well with my “Garden” themed storytime.

This is a variation of the find the hidden object game:
Totoro is looking in the garden for an acorn to plant.

We look behind bushes and find a soot sprite, a tiny white totoro, a blue totoro and finally an acorn.

And then baby catbus shows up because baby catbus is AWESOME!!!

  1. BABY CATBUS!!!!!! You can't hear it, but I totally squealed like a fangirl.

  2. You are a true flannelboard master! Your felt pieces are gorgeous pieces of art, so many props to you Keith!

    1. Thanks so much! I love cuttin me some felt!
