As part of our Halloween events at my library, we made a feltboard scavenger hunt. The customers go do the games/songs on the boards and get to take a litle felty thing (cut by our brother cutting machine) home with them. The feltboards are made by using recycled signs covered in felt using spray mount as an adhesive. Here are tha boards:
I started making felt stuff for storytimes at my library and got hooked. My felt creations are done Kawaii style. I've been a Hello Kitty/Sanrio fan since I was a child. My interest was rekindled while working in San Francisco's Chinatown.

Kawaii Halloween 2021!
Last year during the COVID shutdown, my coworkers and I went a little crazy making Halloween decorations. They are remarkably easy to make in large sizes. We blow up patterns in Microsoft Publisher. You can create tiled patterns in whatever size you wish. Felt by the yard is available at Joanns. My boss wanted Haloween-y but not scary. :) I think we did it. Here is the tutorial for making felt stuff.

Game of 'Shrooms!
I made a bunch of felt mushrooms to give out for Attaboy's "Game of 'Shrooms" day this Saturday June 12. Here are two hint pictures on where to find them.
Attaboy's art is pretty great. I love his series of rocks painted like rocks and paintings of rocks.
